It’s a homecoming for John Wetzstein as the distinguished national team coach with Rowing Canada Aviron has made the choice to move back to his home province and join the Saskatchewan Rowing Association in the role of Sport Technical Director and High-Performance Coach.

Wetzstein coached the Canadian paralympic rowing team to claim Canada’s first medal at the 2016 Paralympics in Rio and was also a coach with the 2020 Tokyo Games.

Two medals come back to Saskatchewan from the Parapan American Games
