Wall claims gold and silver
Heidi Wall, of Saskatoon, brought home two medals for Canada at the USRowing International Rowing Challenge.
Wall claimed gold in the women’s quadruple sculls event, silver in the mixed eight race and competed in two other events.

Three Sask. divers medal at Speedo Junior Elite National Championships
Among the numerous Saskatchewan divers at the 2025 Speedo Junior Elite National Championships, three stood on the podium during their time in Edmonton.
Regina’s Lila Stewart dove to gold in the women’s Group A 1-metre event with 460.15 points. Saskatoon’s Presley Deck received 399.33 points to finish third in the girls’ Group A 3-m event.
Meanwhile, Kash Tarasoff dominated the boys’ Group A platform finals, with 564.15 points to claim gold. In the process, Tarasoff earned twelve 10s on his first two dives.

Grassick joins Canada for FIBA 3×3
Gage Grassick, who hails from Prince Albert, was named by Canada Basketball to the women’s team for the FIBA U23 3×3 Nations League 2025 – Americas 2 in Punta Arenas, Chile from July 21–27.
The top-ranking team of the tournament will qualify for the FIBA 3×3 U23 World Cup 2025 set to take place Sept. 17–21 in Xiong An, China.
Ostepchuk to join Canada’s wheelchair basketball 3X3 team
Regina wheelchair basketball player, Garrett Ostepchuk, was named to the Canadian men’s 3X3 roster for the 2025 IWBF 3X3 Open World Championships, which will take place Aug. 1-3, 2025, in Sun City, South Africa.
