    How do I know if I am eligible to access services from Canadian Sport Centre Saskatchewan as a coach?

    Advanced Coaching Diploma coaches or Competition-Development level coaches will be offered services and training through the Canadian Sport Centre Saskatchewan.

    Do I need to be registered as a coach with the Canadian Sport Centre Saskatchewan?

    No. As an Advanced Coaching Diploma coach or Competition-Development level coach on the High Performance Coach Capacity Grant you are automatically on our mailing lists for information and workshops.

    What is the Advanced Coaching Diploma program and how do I register?

    The Advanced Coaching Diploma is the most extensive multisport training program offered by the NCCP in Canada. The Advanced Coaching Diploma coaches are recognized as being among the most qualified coaches and leaders of Canadian athletes and sport programs competing provincially, nationally and internationally. This unique, multi-sport program is essential for Canadian coaches seeking the next step in their coaching careers. If you are interested in learning more about the program, email Craig Nieuwstad.

    How do I become a Competition-Development Coach in the province?

    The Coaches Association of Saskatchewan in partnership with the Canadian Sport Centre Saskatchewan offers the Saskatchewan Coaching Academy. The Saskatchewan Coaching Academy program offers coaches the opportunity to complete all NCCP Competition-Development multisport modules in two intensive 3-day blocks. This program is designed to support coaches in the completion of NCCP Multi-sport training in an engaging, interactive environment. Learn More.

    What financial assistance or programming is available for coaches?

    The Canadian Sport Centre Saskatchewan in partnership with the Coaches Association of Saskatchewan offers the Coach Visitation Program and the High Performance Coach Development Grant. Both programs offer coaches financial assistance for training and learning opportunities.
