Canada takes silver at Ringette World Championships

With the series tied 1-1, the Canadian junior ringette team faced off against the host Finland in a winner-take-all tiebreaker on Sunday, losing 3-1.

The loss earned Canada silver.

The Canadian squad featured centre Regina’s Lauren Schoenhofen, who helped Canada capture the 4-3 win earlier on Sunday with a goal, as well Regina’s Donnell Schoenhofen on the bench.

Hudak selected as honorary co-captain for Canadian Paralympic team
