CSCS celebrates International Women’s Day

March 8, 2023

In celebration of International Women’s Day, the Canadian Sport Centre Saskatchewan is celebrating all women in sport, including the province’s 35 Olympic and Paralympic medalists.

From Ethel Catherwood winning gold in 1928 to Emily Clark, Lisa DeJong and Brittany Hudak bringing home hardware in 2022, this list of women spans several decades across several sports.

Among the multi-winning medalists are Clark, Hudak, Hayley Wickenheiser, Colleen Sostorics, Colette Bourgonje, Amy Alsop, Lisa Franks, Catriona Le May Doan and Heather Kuttai.
